I'm so sick

Last night I was feeling fine and so did my husband, as the morning came we were both sick to our stomach. So I said it has to be something we ate. He has these awful burbs and I feel like I'm going to throw up and my friend also got sick to his stomach. We had Tyson chicken nuggets and that is all I ate yesterday, so I'm wondering if I got a touch of food poisoning from it. The date on it is good but that don't mean anything. So it's going to be a Tums kinda day for me.

Actually there is a virus going around, my friends little girl was out sick from school with it last week.
I had food poising when I was a kid, I was so sick I could not set up, vomiting and bowel movements at the same time. It almost killed me.

Yes it's awful that why I think I might just have a touch of it, and I hope I don't have the virus that is going around.

I'm so sorry, that's awful. The crazy thing is we have gotten sick off of those in the past. The middle of some was bright pink and raw! We called the company to tell them about it too. It was gross.

@hillhjill They said if we were sick enough to go to the hospital they would have compensated us. We just wanted them to know what happened so they would be more careful in the future.

Thank you.Did the company do anything about it, my friend told me to bring the package back to Walmart but I don't think there is anything they can do as it's not out of date.

sometimes it seems to be going around. we also take periods of really sick stomachs around my house till i wonder what it is poisoning our systems. mine last couple days too.

I am sure you will be fine without medical add. You said you checked the expiry date of the chicken nudgets which could be one of the reasons of your sickness but sometimes even that could be tricky. We have had similar experience with a pack of frozen food. Get well soon....

@suni51 I bought it last night and cooked it last night, we live 15 minutes away from Walmart, so I don't think it had enough time to go bad.

Yeah I know I don't need to go to the ER it's pretty much passed by now, I'm just tired and sore. The date was good but in between packing in stores and stuff it could of went bad.

I'm better today, I told my mom about it last night and she said she wonders if I got ahold of some of that bad chicken that was out they took off the shelves.

@porwest Nope that wasn't it, I got the chicken out of the freezer to show a friend and there was a freaking mold on it! I was shocked. So I went to Walmart to get my money back and got ahold of Tyson again.

That's what I think, as the date was good on the package but that doesn't mean that it was good. Maybe the chicken got thawed out and frozen again.

There is as flu bug going around too. If you head food poisoning Tum's would fix it. I doubt it was the chicken

If it gets worse then yes, but I think if I just take it easy and sip on sprit I will get better.
