Thanks Dianne. Yes I believe we enjoyed it. Sophie loved the sevivon which are dreidles in Hebrew that are laser and light up and sign. We have something someone gave me free that lights up and Sophie loves it. she loves lights and things that move.

I will tell you why we celebrate it for 8 days. Hannuka is called the Festival of Lights as you can see in the picture. The oil was suppose to burn for one day and instead it burned or 8 days and that is why we celebrate the holiday for 8 days. Here is some information for you about Hannuka: Hanukkah is the Jewish Festival of Lights and it remembers the rededication of the second Jewish Temple in Jerusalem, in Israel. ... During Hanukkah, on each of the eight nights, a candle is lit in a special menorah (candelabra) called a 'hanukkiyah'.
