So sorry about the screen view in my photo taken from our lanai. If you look hard enough to the left of the palm tree, you will glimpse Orville the osprey sitting on a palm frond.
That sweet chirping voice woke us up this morning. It is always music to our ears.
Right now, he’s chirping in one of banyan trees and looking at me. I’d take another photo, but it would be through the screen of the lanai.
Have I told you we love that osprey?

I love when a bird becomes a regular. Also, Ospreys are so adorable!

@Tampa_girl7 . I think that is rare. It’s more like 35 years here.

What a view you have! I see the little fellow. He is giving the world his song to enjoy. Maybe it's a mating song. Red cardinal birds do that during their mating season and they are crimson red as they bellow out their love song.

@oahuwriter I will be on the lookout for those cardinals. My osprey loves to sit on the palm tree to protect his domain and catch some fish. lol

It's a lovely tune the all red cardinal birds sing while mating. So lovely to see and hear. The little fellow in your neighborhood is a sight to see too for birds don't usually go to palm sort or trees, maybe only to rest for it's quite visible to the eye so no place to hide for them.
