So BK has started a new promotion which a lot of people are calling a troll of McDonald's. The deal is if you check into the BK app while at a McDonald's that is within a certain distance of a BK you can score a one cent Whopper.
Which sounds pretty cool and all that.
Except for it's kind of a pain to ring up. And it's not in our system because it was originally supposed to only apply to BK restaurants that offer mobile ordering. Which we don't. But trying to explain that to customers that only heard "one cent Whopper" from the advertising is a headache.

I like whoppers had one today but not for the one cent. I get mine cut in half because it is to messy and big to eat whole for me..

The Whopper is too over the top for me too. But I'm not really a burger eater. The crispy chicken is good. Or the original chicken sandwich.

@DWDavis It's what I usually get. I tried the bacon double king the other day and it was way too much for me.

Whoppers for a penny? Sounds like an awesome deal! The two places are pretty close in the city next to me...and I think mobile ordering is available...so could work for me! Haha.
But that does sound like a pain to explain to those that still try to get it at yours!
