My husband is sick.

He came home from watching the football game and asked me to feel his forehead. He was burning up even though I could see him shivering. He went downstairs to sleep because it is quiet and he won't be disturbed by me or Bad Sandy. When he gets sick, it hits him hard and he is down and out for days. He just sleeps and sleeps and won't eat. All he does is sleep for like 4 days and then he is fine. I'm really hoping that this isn't THAT. I'm hoping that the fever will break and he will feel better in the morning. And, if he doesn't, he won't be running to the doctor for antibiotics that *don't* kill viruses. Some ignorant people on this site think that they do, but they don't!

Aubrey's flu virus started by a high temperature and she was tired all the time. Bed rest and liquids, that's all that helped. I hope your husband gets better, real soon!

He was home from work by 5 which means he left at 3:30. He's been sleeping in the basement since he got home.

@NJChicaa Yup, he's really feeling rotten, for sure:( That flu causes a high fever and Aubrey basically slept, for three days straight.

I'm sorry to hear that he isn't feeling well. I hope he feels better really soon and isn't sleeping for 4 days. I'll keep my fingers crossed.

What about a pill for the fever and await for it to work out? there wouldn't be no need to go to the doc. that's what I do. Hope he feels better.

Well I hope he is feeling better by now, if not rest is always good. I have been lucky so far and the only thing I been sick with was a cold but it didn't last too long.

Lots of vitamin C to boost the immune system. Works for me.
