Mystery boxes

Tonight I was watching some documentaries on YouTube and I found a video about a woman who had bought some mystery boxes on eBay. The boxes cost $15, $50 and $100 and she had no idea what she would find in the boxes. When the boxes arrived she opened them and they contained different things like clothes, a bag, books, napkins, a pibe, water melon seeds and part of a phone (the rest was missing) Mystery boxes also exist offline. I have often seen them in second hand shops. We can only see the price, the rest is a surprise. I have never bought any of them. Would you buy a mystery box?

I always watch stuff like that, and no I don't think I would for the simple fact that I don't want to spend money I don't have on stuff like that.

You never know what you will find in the box, it could be anything. I have seen them in the shops sometimes, but I have never bought any of them.

Absolutely not. I like to know what I'm purchasing for the price I pay for it.

I haven't done it either. I have often seen them in the second hand shops, but I am afraid to buy them, because I have no idea what is inside.

I have the same kind of thoughts. I sometimes see them in the shops, but I haven't bought them because the things they contain might not be useful for me.

No, I wouldn't buy a mystery box. I don't know if I need the items from it.

That is the problem - the items might not be useful for us. It is hard to know when we don't know what the box contains.

@dya80dya I think that some of the people who buy them like the surprise part the most. It could be a nice surprise, but it could also something that we don't need or want.

I have only watched one of the videos on YouTube, but I saw that there were several other videos about the same topic. I sometimes see mystery boxes in the shops. I am a little curious, but I haven't bought any of them.

@Porcospino I've seen selling on the internet mistery boxes. I prefer to buy myself what I need, if I have more money I would buy. But is good for Youtube videos, it is interesting.

I haven't bought them either. I have seen them in the shops, and sometimes I am curious, but don't know if I would be interested in the content. It could be anything.

@Nevena83 Yes, it would be disappointing to open the box and find something that we don't need or want. The woman I saw on the video paid $100 for one of the boxes, that is a lot of money, and the content of the box wasn't very valuble.

@Porcospino Yes, curiosity teaches us to buy, but it would be disappointing if it would not be anything nice in it.

I havent but they could be fun. As long as I am guaranteed that it will have items at least worth my money.

That is the thing I am worried about - whether the content is worth my money or not. I could get positively surprised or I could buy something worthless. I have seen the boxes, but I am haven't bought any of them.

I wonder how much she paid for those. I wouldn't unless I took money for a charity event and that was how they took the donations. As they say one person's junk is another person's treasure but that's just to iffy to test out in that way.

I would be willing to do it if I was able to support a charity that way. I have seen some of the those boxes in the second hand shops that I visit, but I have never bought any of them. I might not like the content, and I don't want to take the chance, but sometimes the boxes make curious when I see them.
