Do you have a brother or a sister?

Good evening friends
You already know that my brother was visiting. Some people know that I do not have a good relationship with him, and for that, our mother deserves it. He always paid more attention and love to him. Everything was allowed to him, he never punished him and always found excuses for him.
It's so today when we're already grown up. I always had this difference, but I never behaved towards him, but he started. She often scolds me, humiliates me, laughs ... It hurts very much. He is even very wrong and shows his dissatisfaction that his daughter loves me.
I hardly bear it all if it lasts for a very long time, but I felt the greatest pain when one day said that my child would have expelled from the house that it was not me. I thought I'd die. My child was always attached to him and he could say something like that. At that moment, I only managed to tell him that I would never do that to his child.
Do you have a brother or a sister? What is your relationship with them?

I don´t have a good relationship with my brother, but mine sounds like heaven as compared to yours. Still, it hurts a lot.

@marguicha Rarely when I heard that a brother is attached to a sister, it's always different.

I know how that one feels the only thing is that my sons do not like my brothers because of what they did to me.
So sorry what is happening to you.
In the end my Mom was very sorry for having always loved the two of them more than me.
She always spoiled them more.

Yes they are on my side in that sense.
They do not love my brothers at all.
Maybe he will grow out of that as he grows up.

@lovinangelsinstead21 That's good. It is important that the children are with you and believe you.

@Nevena83 I loved more my father, he was a very good man and he was always ready to step by my side. I married very young, I really disliked how my mother favored my brother all the time. He grew up selfish and egoist because he always had everything he asked from my mother.

Oh, I'm sorry that happened to you too. I think that the mothers are guilty of separating us from little. And my brother is the same as your brother. But in your words, determination is decisive, not pain. How did you overcome this difference and what is it like?

@LadyDuck That's in my case. My mother always loved my brother more. Even now, when I tell her what she is doing, she rejects it and tells me that I'm jealous, but it's not really that way. She was pleased when I gave birth to a son because she likes male children. And then I said that a woman's child would love only her son, and so it was. When he got a daughter, she's all happy. These are things that really hurt. I am 35 years old and it never stopped hurting. My mother never told him a bad word, never raised the tone, always supported him, even in bad things, while my whole life was stumbling. I grew up 15 years ago, she is changing me to this day, while her son lives with a woman who is behaving in a terrible manner, and she sees and finds justification.

I'm an only child. I do have two stepbrothers (I haven't seen a long time) and a stepsister (I don't talk to much). I may have some half brothers or sisters. I don't know.

@Nevena83 I've tried to find one of stepbrothers online, but I don't know what he looks like now or where he lives now. I have talked to my stepsister some, but we aren't close.

@JESSY3236 Yeah, you do not know where he is? And can you find it through some state institutions with the help of names and surnames?

It is really sad to hear what you have been going through. I don't have a sister, but I have a younger brother who is settled in US. We didn't have very cordial relationship - the sibling rivalry was always there, but we stood up for each other whenever anyone of us was facing some difficulty. Even now whenever he requires any monetary help, I do help him to best of my ability. Our mother never discriminated between us. Here in Goa, India where I stay, we don't discriminate between sons and daughters. The brother alsways loves his sister, and will do anything to protect her. He will never humiliate her. Likewise sisters also love their brothers very much.

@Nevena83 I don't understand why your mother discriminated between both of you.

It's so beautiful. My mother always made a difference. He always loved him more and he became very rude.

@amirev777 I do not know, she always liked him more. Even now, when he sees how he acts, he always finds justification for him. While she always criticized me for everything, even when I'm singing, she criticizes me, she never likes to see me happy. I even wrote about it.

I have one brother, who is 2 years younger than me. As children, we were like twins, doing everything together. But as we became teens, we didn't like each other very much because we were always chasing the same girls, and that would cause us to fight. But then when I graduated from the university and moved back home to live close to him, we became close friends again. We always look out for each other.

I have a big family of half brothers and sisters and I am not especially close to any of them. I think it can be difficult sometimes, when people have very different personalities and also sometimes we seem to compete for the love and respect of our parents.
