Two-faced friend

Have you ever had a friend that if you are in front of him very well but when you are behind him talking about you? I have a friend like that, but I did not respond so great, because I know he's evil. What do you think? whether my attitude is correct?

If you can have the patience that is the great attitude. Just ignore such people rather than questioning the person.
