Another Jammed Packed Day Ahead

Happy Tuesday Everyone! We have a sunny start to this Tuesday and our pup Mush is laying in the sun that is streaming through the sliding glass doors. She looks perfectly content to be sunbathing. Gizmo, on the other hand, is snoring on the sofa all curled up on his blanket. I really would have thought both would have wanted to go out by now but I'm not going to bother them when I can spend some time here until they decide to wake up. I have a busy day ahead. With Christmas being only 2 weeks away I'm still trying to get the house in order but my efforts aren't going very well. I have piles of boxes that Amazon delivered and I really need to get them opened and sorted. I haven't opened many of them yet because I'm not sure what is in each box and some things are for my daughter and I want her to be surprised on Christmas. She's working today so my goal is to get the gifts all sorted and hopefully by tomorrow I can start wrapping. Christmas in my house is always a festive event. The whole family gathers, we have a nice dinner, gifts and lots of fun and laughs. With 10 grandchildren all here together it's a loud and noisy day but one I look forward to with much excitement. Meanwhile, I need to get this day started and hopefully once I get through all these boxes I can relax this afternoon and start writing out the Christmas cards I do send.
