What does God want for us?

If you are a parent, what do you want for your children? Do you not want them to be happy, to be at peace, to have enough to enjoy life, to be healthy and have a long life?
What do you think God wants for us, for you, for me?
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Jeremiah 29:11 (Amplified Bible) "For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the Lord, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
*** God created man and put him in a paradise of beauty and plenty.
*** God loved us so much that he sent Jesus, his unique son, to show us his love and ways.
*** God gave us the Bible to teach us his ways and how we can one day live in a paradise of love and abundance for eternity.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
God wants to give us so many blessings, so many good things. What does God want of us?
Micah 6:8 (American Standard Version) "He hath showed thee, O man, what is good; and what doth Jehovah require of thee, but to do justly, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with thy God?"

He is such a good Father. Seeking Him will make our paths straight and help us through anything we come across. :)

Yes, he is so good, so loving, so generous. He only wants what's good for us. If only we would listen to him (as a world), we could enjoy peace and abundance right now. (Isaiah 48:17-18)

He wants us to know him, first. When we know him, he will put his thoughts and intents into our hearts, which we will find are things we enjoy, but the difference will be, we will do everything for the glory of God. When we do, he gives us the desires of our hearts.

It is good to pray for our children and family and we hope they also put God and his ways as a priority in their lives. As Jesus encouraged us in Matthew 6:33, may we all seek first the kingdom and God's righteousness and all other things will be supplied to us. We are in the best hands!

Yes, we often forget how much He does for us each day. We take many things for granted ike the air that we breathe.

I am forever in the attitude of gratitude and therefore just do not ask. He gives me what is best for me and that includes challenges.

I know that some people feel that way and yet, it seems to me that the model prayer found at Matthew 6:9-13 is made up of requests. Jesus emphasized that we should pray that way. What are your thoughts on that?

God wants and hopes we will repent and come to Him through His Son Jesus Christ. Only then will a person have a full life. Even with the problems life has, if we have come to truly know Him, we can put our hope and trust in Christ to get us through the hard times.

Yes, he wants the very best for us. He gives us the best instruction in the Bible so that we can be busy with good things and he instructs us so that we can avoid the bad, He loves us dearly!

Yes, that's want we want for our children and we are God's children and so he wants the same things for us. The Bible is like a roadmap to happiness, even in this crazy world.

Yes, God's thoughts are different and higher than ours. We can delight in reading his words as found in the Bible. Isaiah 48:17-18 tells us that God teaches us and instructs us and that we can benefit from his teachings and the results will be peace and righteousness.
