Mostly my husband, Vince, is very considerate and helpful but he is far from perfect. The other day we ended up outside a school which seemed to be having some sort of celebration. There were a lot of people there but the walls were bare as though perhaps they were finishing up for the year. Vince went charging off, leaving me bringing up the rear carrying the jackets. Within minutes I’d lost sight of him then spied him waving from the top of a double-decker bus as it drove off round the oval. I had already decided I’d go back and wait in the car but I couldn’t because it was locked. I pretended not to see him and made it look as though I was having trouble managing the coats and a string shopping bag I’d picked up somewhere. I was all set to give him a piece of my mind when he came back but then realised that really wouldn’t be fair. He probably hadn’t had the same dream I had and wouldn’t know what I was talking about. Not that that’s unusual. Photo of our bus which unfortunately isn’t double-decked. Doesn't it look good with its 'go-fast' red stripe?
