Multi-tasking while sitting on the toilet

Following a heap of comments on The Horse’s post about multi-tasking, it struck me that, while I know many read while sitting on the toilet, I would have thought it was mostly men who did this. I rarely do anything but what I went there for. Mostly I just want to get the matter, so to speak, over and done with and move on to other things. So I’m wondering if I’m right or wrong.
I’m particularly interested to know if women read while on the loo as I’m assuming most men do.
On @TheHorse’s post which you can read here: some mentioned some quite bizarre activities while engaged in such personal pursuits but I think they were kidding. I mean really, who would play guitar while ensconced on the throne? Maybe I could do my nails while waiting for the deed to be done.
Photo is of an ancient outdoor toilet. I can't imagine anyone multi-tasking while sitting in it.

My toilet has no reading material and I would consider it gross to have a "smelly" book
. But lately, I confess to taking my cellphone to the bathroom when in the shower. I´m not sure if I will die from answering it with wet hands. But it can destroy my day to have someone calling me for a very stupid reason while I´m there. I have the compulsion to answer any phone or bell

I dont read but I have been known to talk on the phone while there.

NO! Same as @marguicha I consider this gross. I wash my hand before sitting there and they must stay clean. I wash again before quitting the loo. I touch nothing while there. The link does not work, I suspect the discussion has been deleted for some reason.

I've heard of the stereotype that women are better than men at 'multitasking,' but I have no idea whether it's true. In fact, I'm not exactly sure what...

Well, I don't want to be the one to burst your bubble so I'll just agree. Vince got a huge shock as a child when he and his Dad went to do some work at the local convent and there were bloomers hanging on the line. I don't know what he thought nuns wore - or didn't wear as the case may be.

Guilty! But since I work 24/7 sometimes its the only ME time I get, so yeah, I read in the bathroom.

When I was young I sat on the toilet reading all the time. It was really that I was so engrossed in books I didn't want to put it down even for a second. I haven't done that since I was young though and living at home. I wait until I have to go terribly then run in and am in and out as quick as possible.
