Mongolian Meal

Kublai Khan is known to be a great Mongolian leader in history but at present, it is a Mongolian Restaurant that offers an all you can eat buffet. The interesting part of this buffet is that the cook is not responsible for how the food tastes but the customers. The diners are given a bowl and they can fill it with whatever ingredient they desire. The cook only adds the fire. It was an interesting meal.

I never taste that before, it looked like noodles or pasta I couldn't tell.

Mongolians claims they invented noodles and pasta...not the Chinese... Horse milk is an important part of their cuisine. They are also the only Asians who dont eat rice. Their main staple is milk,

@Letranknight2015 yes and I put some rice underneath. @CaptAlbertWhisker You seem to know a lot about Mongolian cuisine. Are you Mongolian by ancestry?

Thanks Iza. I’m happy with the food and the cost. You must try it if there’s any available in your place.

It sounds eat-all-you-can mode. Is it?

@Shavkat there’s a lot in Cebu. It’s a good business strategy. If they buy and cook in bulk it’s cheaper. And people’s tummy has a limit too.

@flapiz I think most restos in the Philippines have the scheme. It attracts their target market.

What cuisine do you have? Aside from Chinese, korean, Indian. Those are common ones.

@flapiz I'm pretty sure we have every possible cuisine here except Mongolian. At least I've never seen a Mongolian restaurant. I will have to do a little research and see if I'm wrong. Edit: okay, I stand corrected, we have three Mongolian restaurants here. Now I know what new restaurants I will be trying this upcoming week! haha

I don’t know to be honest as it was just different ingredients and the diner is the one to decide which ingredients they want in their food.

There are several restaurants in my area where you can buy that kind of meal. I like it a lot. We pick meat and vegetables and then the cooks prepares the dish.

@flapiz That is one of the things I like about it - we get exactly the kind of dish we want. I usually like the things I have chosen. I visited one of those restaurants a few days ago and the food was delicious.

It’s very good because we don’t have to do lengthy orders of what we want and we don’t. Our dish is personalised to our taste. And it’s also very quick.

It was! I finished 2 serves. I wanted more but I couldn’t so I didn’t maximise my eating potential.
