So are you saying that you and Mike had a great conversation while you were out having fish and chips?
I think I have a lot of decent conversations on here as several of us go back and forth for days exchanging ideas. I can also have a good conversation with my family or people I see. Not that I'm seeing that many right now being off from work, but there's usually something to talk to someone about even if they really don't want to share, talking with them helps them feel not so alone if they are ones that tend to think that way.

Its been a while since I talked about anything other than cancer treatments or anything medical with someone. My days are filled asking others how they feel.
I would love a baked fish.

With all the "hot buttons" today it's difficult to have a good discussion. A wrong word, phrase taken out of context, and all heck breaks loose.
And people don't discuss things. If you have an opposing opinion it's taken as a personal attack. People think it's their job to sway your opinion to their side of things. Personally, when they do that I have a harder time changing my opinion. But, fi during a good discussion good points are made, facts are brought to light that I didn't realize, I won't hesitate to adjust my position on a subject.

Yes, it does depend on the conversation. The conversation generated during my small group on Friday night is always good.

I'm so glad you and Mike had a special treat, for lunch. Fish&chips is one of my favorites, too! I had a great conversation about two weeks ago, with my P.A. She was so attentive to what I was saying, it almost scared me! I'm not use to people, who are good listeners:) lol
