It arrived just in time for Christmas!

And just what was it we were waiting for? The headstone for our graves in our church cemetery!
The guys are out there setting it up as I write. (It was too chilly to hang around.)
I looked at my husband and said, "Do you think we should put some Christmas flowers on it? All the other head stones will have them."
Oh, wait. Those all have actual bodies/ashes in the ground.
Guess I'll wait on the flowers. Hopefully for many years. But whenever it happens, our head stone will be all ready for us.
Maybe that should be our Christmas gift to each other.
Nah, there are other presents more exciting. But Christmas isn't (or shouldn't be) just about gifts.
That precious baby boy Jesus really was and always will be the very best gift of all, for all of us. That means you, me, and every person who's ever lived.

It's true that Christmas is not just about gifts. Christmas is Christ and it should be celebrated because of his birth.

When it come to buying a head stone, I guess I am organized. Other areas of my life, not so much.
