I am too distracted

I likely am worried. I know I am too distracted to get much done today. I did not sleep well last night. Hubby has medical tests tomorrow. Of course Facebook is putting all kinds of ghastly diseases in my feed related to the tests he is having. I did not sleep well last night. This evening I took this picture. We have two blocks decorated downtown and I love Christmas decor. I was just driving around, trying to be calm and peaceful and trying to think about other things. These snowflakes certainly are pretty, and they are not cold.

Thank you for the prayers. Just have had too many medical complications the last few years, but the tests today were needed, good, and informative.

Maybe you'll get a year without so many medical issues @GardenGerty but I'm glad you sound so positive

The snowflake lights are lovely. Best I can do is to tell you to rest up best you can and I will put your hubby in my prayers tonight. Virtual hugs.

I love snow flake lights, they can stay up longer and still not be wrong for the season. Thanks for praying. Next post up talks about the results.

I'm remembering my dad having cancer, and still yet, he's my dad. It's got to be much worse worrying about your husband.

It does not matter who it is, it is family and you love them. One thing that has now been brought to our attention by two doctors is if the cancer is treated with radiation there can be internal scar tissue that will be easily injured. Your dad will want to watch out for that.

@AmbiePam It is not dying that is a problem, but a horrible quality of life. It is not good to have to live with a catheter and blood transfusions, and er visits.

@GardenGerty My dad is way too okay with dying. I hate it that he is so nonchalant. I think he just wants to be reunited with my mom.

Get all the rest you can and hope things will turn out well. Yes facebook does put those kind of adverts on your pages. I just ignore them all I can.

Well, here we are two months later. We have seen tons of doctors for various things, and then we found a right doctor who has solved one problem. We are now beginning on the aspect of changing cardiologists, so we can see one more local who will actually follow up on some things with Bob's heart. We are both resting much better now.

I hope everything will be ok with him. We really can't help but worry about our loved ones and sometimes we go crazy what we see online and we get paranoid.

Oh yes, that is true. Especially when I did not go searching for information but somehow the internet seems to always know what is going on.

@toniganzon I hope your son is doing better now. We have seen enough doctors and checked enough things out that we finally (I think) have a solution.

@GardenGerty Yeah the internet usually does but I usually don't rely on it. When my son got sick two weeks ago, I called his pedia and she gave medicine for flu. I did use the internet to search for his symptoms as well as his fever continued. But I decided to bring him to his pedia. It turned out he had dengue fever and he was hospitalised.

Do not search online for medical stuff, everything pops up, relax, your husband will be fine.

@GardenGerty That's good to hear. I remember when my husband had a medical scare. It took a while for us to settle down after that.

I’d definitely keep off Facebook now. Anything like that is a cause to worry and most likely fake!

I do not like how I will post something here and the sneaky old internet will try to get in on the act through Facebook. I have posted about the results, now, and also need to share the news with another friend or two.

Things went really well. Yes, waiting is hard. Seeing him sick is hard as I already had one husband basically waste away.
