Still loving the country

I moved from Kansas to Texas (in the country) about 10 months ago and I've learned a few things: 1. It's chicken fried steak not country fried steak. 2. The speed limit here is just a suggestion. 3. I never understood the importance of knowing which bug/snake is poisonous or not. 4. They don't have city workers to come pick up road kill. They have buzzards to do that. 5. Enjoy the country drive into town. It's where you'll find the least crazy drivers. 6. I love it here! I'll just have to get used to the Texas ways.

Oh yes. I've encountered many on our property and a few on our walks down the street
