Can A Himalayan Salt Lamp Raise Your Blood Pressure?

I can remember my first grade teacher, and many others saying "There's no such thing as a stupid question." Well, I have to disagree with that statement. There are plenty of them, and one of them is the title of this discussion. This is a question that someone actually asked me the other day. I thought they were joking at first, but no, they were dead serious. Himalayan salt lamps pull moisture from the air along with positively charged ions. The moisture collects on the lamp, and by the heat of the bulb, sends the moisture back into the air (by evaporation) with negatively charged ions. These negative ions promote better breathing and many other benefits. I personally have a few and highly recommend their use. Question: Can a Himalayan salt lamp raise your blood pressure? Answer: Only if you eat it.

I would not be able to eat that lamp for sure. Supposed to be very good for you yes but I have not got one to try just yet.

We would probably have to live in a Himalayan salt cave for it to be very beneficial, lol.

Do you feel that it cleanses the air in your living room? I have one in mine too. And in the bedrooms.

@cindiowens I feel no difference in air quality. It's for decorative purposes.

Really? Where have you been hiding? Even WalMart sells them.
