NEED HELP: "Should I report GRANDPA and his GRANDSON?"

It has a couple of teaching sessions with grandpa and grandson online. I find it cute that both of them are working in tandem while learning the English language. In fact, it is not common to have two students online at the same time. The other side concern of this is that it is not allowed to have 1:2 classes in my company. For the reason that it should be a double payment if this set up happens. Personally, I don't mind at all. However, my concern is that it might be seen by the company's admin and I will be in a difficult situation. "What do you think about this concern?" "Is it fair to have two students in one class?" @Shavkat I feel if you are teaching two students at once you should get paid for each one of them.

You said it right. I think it needs to be paid double. In real-life, there is no free for giving such service.

@Hannihar I am afraid that I can't. That's the reason why I need to report this situation.

As much as I don't want to say this, Shavkat, you probably should report it. I think it is nice that the grandfather wants to improve his English, but if the class is for his grandson, then it should be his grandson taking the class, not him.

That's the reality. I do think it needs to be reported. Another reason, I should be paid double for this kind of class setting.

@DaddyEvil The platform for teaching students is designed for 1:1. It means we are being paid per student. It is obvious that grandpa is not paying me. That's the bad side for having them two in one class.

@Shavkat True. Why shouldn't you be paid for each person you're teaching? I could see if they had talked with you first and explained they couldn't afford to pay for the second person and you decided to be nice and forego the second fee, but they didn't do that, right? The grandfather should expect to pay for his lessons, too.

It's a tricky one isn't it? I don't see any harm in it but I guess admin would be within its rights to be upset.

I agree. I think I need to report this situation if they will have another class online. Since it needs to follow the company's standard rules with this concern.

@Shavkat Perhaps you should warn the old man first.

@JudyEv I am not sure if this man will accept it. I will try to let him know first.

That's a really big dillema. I don't see a problem with it too, it sounds cute actually but the problem here is the admin finding out.

I agree. The good side is that I can help two people to learn the English language. The downside, I will be in big trouble with the company.
