Becca Kinsey who calls Dallas Texas her home is very thankful that three strangers who are also moms assisted Becca take an airplane ride to Dallas safe and sound. James and Wyatt who are aged 2 and 5 years of age were anxious when they had to wait In the security line to get on board the airplane when James was tired and Wyatt started to scream which nearly drove their mom to crying out of a stressful situation. One mom came to assist Becca by allowing her and her two children get past security and get onboard the airplane by assisting her get her carry-on to get to the airplane since Becca was having a hard time juggling her duties of taking care of her children as well as getting her carry-ons. Becca thanked the two moms for assisting her in her time of need. When Becca and her children were on the flight, a third mom asked Becca if she could take care of Wyatt who was screaming since he mist be afraid of flying inside of an airplane. After Wyatt took a nap, the third mom told Becca since she looked tired and she wanted to care of Wyatt until they arrived at their destination. The third mom took Wyatt to the luggage area and released Wyatt to his brother and gives Becca a hug and wished her a "Merry Christmas." A bad situation was defused thanks to mother power.

You have a good point there since small kids can be a burden for parents.

That reminds me of when I flew back to California from Montana. I was moving back "home" and had planned everything very carefully. I had bought a tote and filled it with inexpensive toys to keep my 5 year old busy the whole flight. I had taken my cat to the vet for her physical and to get the tranquilizers that were necessary for the flight. Things were coming together for the flight and it was going to be smooth as silk...I had taken my daughter to the airport to see the big planes take off and land and explained everything that was going to happen. Then good ole fate stepped in. A week before take off I stepped off my front stoop and stepped on a patch of hidden ice and fell and broke my ankle. The doctor put me in a full leg cast because of my being on the flight. So I called the airlines and had them change where I was seated to the front of the coach section where I could stretch out my leg. I also requested a wheel chair for me to get through the airport. The big day came and I was taken to the airport with my daughter, cat (who had been tranquilized an hour before the flight was to take off), two carry on bags, my crutches, and extra clothes for my daughter, purse, and our luggage. I was met at the airport door with the wheelchair and EVERYTHING was stacked on my lap...suitcases, totes, crutches, cat, purse...I couldn't see where we were headed! I got to check in and checked in the suitcases and was wheeled to the waiting area, with the cat and tote bags and purse in my lap. It came time to board and I lucked out. There was one stewardess that took pity on me and helped us to the seat. She put the cat under the last seat in first class and made sure that my daughter and I were comfortable before she resumed her normal duties. We sat and waited for take off, I gave my daughter her first toy from the tote and she was happy. The stewardess that helped me on the plane stopped by with a special snack and some goodies for my daughter (who thanked the stewardess on her own!). About that time I needed to use the restroom and she escorted me to the first class restrooms rather than my have to struggle through all the passengers getting on the plane. Finally everything and everyone was settled and we began take off. We got in the air and the first thing is the cat started to yell. The stewardess who helped me brought the cat to me to see if she would calm down (which she didn't). The next thing I knew the stewardess came back to take my daughter to the restroom (in first class) When they came back my daughter had some goodies to munch on and more toys (I had been giving her toys through the whole flight). I also was brought some coffee so I could take pain medications for my ankle. That went on through the whole flight! When I tried to tip the stewardess who did so much to help me through the flight she would have nothing to do with the tip. Her only words were "Please when you come across someone who needs help like you, please please give it to them. The attendant arrived with a wheel chair and loaded me, the howling cat, my carry ons and all the other stuff on my lap and wheeled me out to my friends who were there to pick me up. It was an incredible trip and one I have never forgotten...especially the loud mouthed cat who screamed the whole trip to where I was staying...when I let her out of the carrier she used the litter box and crawled on the couch and slept for three days straight without moving from the spot. It is so wonderful that there are people out there that are happy to take the time to help out...it makes a huge difference and it would be wonderful if everyone were willing to help like your people and mine.
