My Lifeline in One Picture!

Good morning myLotters! Its been over two months since I logged on but im alive and well everyone just have been caught up with life and work. Alot has happened but im currently working on taking time off of work to settle into the holiday spirit. While I was away I traveled to Brazil and Venezuela for work purposes and it left an impact on me. I saw poverty, children living in extreme poor conditions, and it was eye opening to the point where I changed certain lifestyle habits and began doing charity work wich has brought me inner peace. Once I was back home I was soo happy to see my children and tell them about my trials and tribulations and everything I went through and saw helped me appreciate everything alot more and give thanks to god everyday for the continuous blessings!

He really is amazing, im not a religious person but I have found my faith and love for God. It was rough to see all the homeless and hungry kids in Venezuela. The only hope they had left was God.

You are wonderful! I, too, saw the poverty in Brazil and Venezuela which broke my heart. My husband and I donate to many charities including those that help children of poverty. Seeing that makes us appreciate what we have.

Yeah it was rough to see in person but I did what I could. I had about 30 dollars a day to eat and ended up buying food for the kids and lived off 4 dollars a day. It was a good learning expeirience

Your children are so cute, may God bless them, and so your family. But what got my attention the most is that you mentioned Venezuela which is the country where I live, and I cannot disagree with you. Cause actually you're right, at least in Venezuela's case. Unfortunately we have the worst ruler ever, and we don't even know how we can get rid of him, cause everytime there's election this guy wins so most people are immigrating to nearby countries to live a different and better lifestyle. That's nice that you have learned something from what you saw in Venezuela and turn it into a story to tell and reflect! Regards man!

Yeah Jose, their really is a humanitarian crisis going on in Venezuela. I literally had 40 dollars for myself to eat everyday and literally fed over 20 kids a day with those 40 dollars for about 8 days and it broke my heart. I got a contact info from one of the parents and im getting a care package of cloth ready and canned goods etc May god bless you all and take care of your people. I want to go back after I visit Cuba and Thailand next year

@BACONSTRIPSXXX Thank you for helping those children man. What you do for them, it is supposed to be done by Venezuela's government but as it is a corrupt one I can figure they are not being very charitable at all. I hope everything goes well on the other countries and you can have the greatest experience ever in those countries!

I could understand and relate to what you mean, it's the Holy Spirit that works in our lives and our hearts the moment we accepted Jesus as Lord and Saviour, we all have a calling and we need to pray and listen. People who's lives have not yet been touched would probably call both of us nuts if we speak of things like this lol! I'm glad you found your calling
