What should I write about?

I always wonder what I should write about on here. What would people find interesting? Of course the conversations that come from writing is what it is all about, right? So I want to write about what you all find interesting. I think things that not everyone is writing about is a good idea. With so many people writing it's sometimes hard not to write about the same things. I do see many people just write about their day or things going on in their lives. What do you write about when your life is so boring like mine LOL What about movie/TV reviews, music reviews, those sound like interesting things to write about of course I don't watch a lot of things and the music I listen to is considered old now, so I guess everyone has probably heard it all before. It's always a question for me...what should I write about? How is it you decide what to write about? Do you only write about things that happen to you? Or do you write about other things too?

I usually write about things going on in my life, like dealing with the aftermath of the fire that burned down my house, making teddy bears, cooking and other things that happen to tickle my fancy. I've also been known to write about the idiots around me and those running the government. Be thankful you can call your life boring! It seems like every time things settle down a little bit for me someone calls ans stirs things up again. One thing I was putting off was getting shots in my lower back. It is supposed to help my being able to walk. Well my cell phone rang yesterday and I answered it (of course). It was for making the appointment for the injections. I'm now scheduled for something I was putting off for as long as I could. Also when things settle down and seem to get boring someone always needs help with something. So I never am able to look at life as boring. I also design and make teddy bears so a lot of my life is spent working on teddy bears. My mom would groan when I started designing because that signaled that I would be incommunicado for many hours. I had the family room all to myself so it was great...well for me at least. Mom would finally give up and move out to the family room to do her crafts so she had someone to talk to. She knew when I was designing I couldn't bring my work into the house because the mess was like 20 fold what just jointing and stuffing the bears was. One of the other things I write about is problems. It is very helpful to get other perspectives on a problem. There are some very smart people out there on the Lot, and they can offer some really good solutions to problems. Just kind of lurk around and watch and see what is posted. It will give you a good idea on what to write about.

Yes, mostly I just write about things in life but I always think to myself, who the heck is going to care about any of this. But I think people do like to read about other peoples lives, kind of makes them feel normal to know we all go through similar issues/problems and it's sometimes helpful to know what they did to deal with it.

@BearArtistLady Sounds about right, I like reading about what people are doing in their lives and I like to read about people from other countries see if and how their lives are different due to the country they are from.

@Bensen32 Sometimes it's just reading about what's going on in someone else's life that makes their life more interesting. It is beyond feeling normal that our lives are similar. Some of the people write to help others out who are having issues/problems. Many times people also like to share funny things that have happened to them. Also reading about other people's lives can give us ideas on what to do with our own.

I write about the things that happen in my life. I also write things I am interested in like travel or books. Sometimes I write about things I read online or local news stories from my country.

Close your eyes. Pick a subject and well, start scribbling. Or tell us about your cat's whiskers or your dog's whiskers. Mouse?
