He said he loved her without hesitation.
If you could only see the tears fall from her foolish heart.
This world only filled his life with agitation.
And it finally broke them apart.
In her eyes he was a saint, he's her savior.
They tried their best to find a way.
But in his heart he truly knew he couldn't save her.
Walked away, hoping she would just beg him to stay.
She stood there watching him walk away.
Feeling her heart fall down at her feet.
His heart is dying and beginning to decay.
Tears fall down her face as she bows to her defeat.
She watched her world crumble, but she rebuilt it piece by piece.
Holding onto a hope that will eventually fade away.
Tears fell and words were fired but eventually the pain came to a cease.
And now she lives in a new light and smiles for a new day.

(5/20/18) - is this supposed to be the title of the poem? Good poem! Emotional. Tells a story. And the rhymes work well.

Yes that’s the name of the poem I just decided to put the date as the title because it gets people wondering what the date means or what happened on that day

True my friend. I have seen people running away from their partners expecting them to beg them to stay in their life.
