Cat Gift

For all of you cat lovers out there, this one is for you. Having two cats is so much different than just one. It seems they compete over everything. My attention, food, and yes even the litter box. I have two litter boxes. I was hoping that would help some with the competition. And it has helped, things are a lot better than in the beginning. My smaller cat Brendel really leaves her mark in the litter box, if you catch my drift. You would think that the Dude, being the bigger cat, would leave a bigger mark. Nope it is all Brendel. She lets her presence known when it comes to the litter box. I am trying to tiptoe around the subject here. I will just leave you with this, if she could talk, she would tell me... Your gift is in the litter box. Just like in this photo I found. Have a great weekend everyone.

I have no cats, but the two young cats of my neighbors (2 different neighbors) come to visit me several times a day. Where they compete more is about my attention, they go home for litter.

@CarolDM My husband is allergic to cats and dogs fur, this is why I am happy with those of my neighbors, they only come inside a few moments and I keep them in the entry hall.

All my whiskers are staying outdoors. They have all the time to litter and be cleaned up in the afternoon on a daily basis.

That is true since having seven cats in this house is great. The problem is when one cats meet another cat, for example Relish who is the oldest meets Bert who is the youngest cat, they snap at each other by telling each other, "Stay on you side of the floor."

@CarolDM They are all different cats in terms of behavior, three of them are lone wolves. The others like to walk around the house.

@nela13 I enjoy my cats, they are very independent. Yes I change the box but I don't have to walk them in the rain.

I tend to watch for strays and leave little goodies out for them, but haven't seen even one so far at our new house!!

Have a super weekend. Now that my Sid comes and goes there are times he just comes in to leave me a gift. When I catch a drift of the odor I know he was here and gone again. Such a joy
