Dippity Do was a styling gel for the hair that many women used back in the day. It was thick and did keep hair in place. I do remember my Mom used it because when I was a kid, I liked to look in her drawers for some of her jewelry etc to play dress up. I got a kick out of trying her on her jewelry, but I never tried to put the Dippity Do in my hair. I just remember taking the cap off and smelling it. It had kind of a sweet chemically smell.

This brand was not distributed in my country, but I remember the styling gels of the 60's.

We always had Dippity-Doo in the house, if I remember right there was green and red. I was an adolecent during the late 60s and early 70s and we did not like to use sticky, oily pomade like our dads did ( we were starting to grow long hair) so we experimented with it, I remember letting classmates try it when they come to play in our house
