Ordered 2 cookbooks

I lent 2 of my Instant Pot cookbooks to a coworker back in September. She had just gotten one so I figured I'd let her look through the books to get some recipe ideas. Yeah, well, she still hasn't returned the books. I'm not too upset about one of them but the other one, Dinner In An Instant, is really a pretty good book and one that I'd like to use again. I decided to just buy another copy because I don't know if or when my coworker is ever going to give me the books back. It was only $17 on Amazon. I also decided to buy the author's follow-up, Comfort In An Instant which was just $14. I am supposed to be finishing up my holiday shopping but today I bought some stuff for myself instead.

And why not ask him for a book, maybe he simply forgot?

If my friends returned the books I have lent them, I would have to move to a bigger house. Sometimes, it is just a matter of moving on and buy the book again.

That's what I figured. If she gives them back, I'll give the one that I replaced to my sister. I'm giving her an Instant Pot for Christmas.

@NJChicaa If the books are so good, she probably will not return them or return them in a very bad shape. I know how it is.

There are some great books on Amazon and great products. On some sites there are Amazon products posted on the sites.

I would feel weird. I did ask her if she had gotten around to using them yet last month I think and she said no but there was absolutely no sense of "OMG I need to get those books back to you" in her at all. It isn't really a big deal. It isn't like they are super expensive. If/when she does return them, I'll just give them to my sister. I'm giving her an IP for Christmas.

Have you asked your coworker to return them? I'm glad you found them at a good price.
