Ok ok, so I'm awake ..... but why so early in the mornin???

I took this shot of Ally in November of 2011, she was napping and I woke her

That shot of Ally was what I musta looked like this morning when both Ally and Max were determined to wake me up. I'm not sure what time they started to gang up on me but I finally got up at 4:30am. I have to ask @myklj999 if Scar calls all them other kritters on mylot to give them tips on how to annoy their 2leggers. Pleeeeze tell Scar to knock it off!! It's only 5pm now but it feels like10pm and I need to get some shut eye. Am I the only one that feels sleepy far too early?

Even for too much cuteness, that is too early! I know some parents that complain that their kids wake up too early - but luckily my 2 are snoozers and are only glad to sleep in. I still wake up early no matter what day it is . . . and most days I am sleepy earlier than everyone else.

@much2say my son has always had a pretty strong internal clock so usually no matter what time he goes to bed he is up the same time every morning.

@shaggin That's pretty good! That's how it is for me. My kids internal clock only knows what to do when they have the day off from school .

I've heard that from other parents. Some of my friends, now grandparents, have complained to me that their kids won't put their grandkids to bed until after 10pm, now I get it. If they go to bed too early they'll wake too early.

Cutie Ally. I woke several times last night so yeah, I'm pretty loggy. Good luck to you- need a nap? Take one for me, please and thank you.

When pets want you to get up you have to obey, pets rule humans.

Is that why you do not have any pets? The truth is they become so rambunctious on my bed that I have no choice but to wake up but I get even with them by not getting up, I simply put up with their antics and pretend to be asleep, sometimes it works but sometimes it does not.

Well, at least you are not forced to wake up too early unless your husband is ill or something correct @LadyDuck ?

@rebelann No, the reason not to have pets it's our frequent travels and a mild allergy to animal furs that my husband has.

I know how he feels, I don't know the exact time that Max and Meetzee started with tha vocals but I know I was awake by 4am. Luckily it only happened 2ce so far, I wouldn't like it to happen every nite.

Yes, they do but I am glad they aren't sheep, if one of those were to jump on my bed I'd surely wake up in a hurry Generally I simply go back to sleep after they wake me up and sometimes they let me simply sleep. If they've awoken me several times overnight I generally sleep really late and then Ally starts after me because she's hungry, Ally is the last of my pets to try to wake me up.

That is true @JudyEv Right now I am training these cats that I will not feed them before 8am, maybe that will put a burr in their fur covered behinds.

Yeah, they needed me, they needed me to fill the food bowls which I do twice a day and waking me up to get an extra meal does not happen here.

If I eat really late I do as well. Have you ever noticed that after a large lunch that includes meat and veggies you'll get sleepy about an hour later?

Oh my goodness that would be really early to be woken up. Just reading this makes me tired so I must go shower and get ready for bed. This picture is so funny!

I had slept for less than 7 hours every day. Since I need to help out my younger sister to taking care of her baby boy. I hope you can take a nap later.

7 hours is a good nights sleep for me but when my cats start to wake me up I usually have only been asleep for 2 hours or so, that is not enough sleep for me.

Since I have three dogs there is no sleeping in in the mornings, one grabs the blanket and drags it off while the small ones jumps up and down on me and if that does not work the big one will let out a monsterous bark....I really hate morning....lately I have been getting up before they wake up and yelling its time to go out and I get dirty looks.when their eyes pop open...payback pups payback....

That could be. Both are very old with the oldest at least 17 years old but I suppose even old cats like to play now and then. Lucky for me they have not done that again these past few days.
