A long time ago, in another galaxy lived an ancient civilization on a planet known as Eros the third planet from the sun in the 4th arm of the galaxy NGC 6744, in the southern constellation of Pavo, some 30 million light years from Earth. Gold haired beings who stood 9 feet tall, who resembled humans as they appear today, once existed in a Class or Type 2 civilization on the Kardashev Scale. Although very advanced and able to travel at or near light speed and with an average life expectancy of over 1000 years, there were some among the high courts of the king of Andros who longed to travel to a world that existed that lied in the cosmic ball park of Virgo, where legend had it that a planet called Ertha, also a third planet from it's sun that was supposedly perfect terra form for stellar beings to start a new colony but there were stories of a species of large lizard like creatures roaming the planet Ertha and the challenge was to find a way to populate a new world with species of intelligent bipedal beings like themselves. These tall and highly advanced human like beings came from local planets in the local group to be able to occupy a small island, isolated from the other main continents and provide long term growth without interference with the lives of other species on the rest of the planet, at least that was what the beings of Eros, that orbited a star that was expected to go nova in under a few centuries and would force everyone to find other worlds to occupy to continue their survival. The order to take flight into the unknown in a ship of great size and power, occupied by a small group of space travelers was given and the launch took place on a day when the twin suns shined on either side of the horizon and the weather was perfect for it. Traveling at nearly the speed of light in an interstellar ram jet that had been designed by scientists over 50 thousand years before, when Eros was a mere Class 1 civilization and the life expectancy was only about half as long as it was today, was restricted to the central zones of their galaxy, due to treaties with other space societies to keep the peace. So, after they landed on Ancient Ertha, they were able to find a place that was perfect for them to start a new civilization. They brought with them their culture, their seeds and their knowledge of harvesting sunlight for energy. The problem was that once they landed they would remain shut off from the rest of their former civilization and would basically have to resort to living like the ancients did so many millions of years ago. They adapted well and did so secretly and eventually vanished off the face of the earth as time progressed to the present day, however, legend has it that they did take sailing ships to other islands and other continents and continued to adapt but their size made it hard not to be noticed and many if not all were treated unkindly by the indigenous humans on the planet but possibly a few managed to be revered as gods and made large monuments that represented their status as beings of supreme knowledge and skill thus the pyramids were built and other very large structures that otherwise would never have been conceived by the earthlings who basically lived like common hunters and gatherers for many thousands of years. This is of course a story, but I had fun writing it. The island today is known as Easter Island.

I always believed it was the Pleidians that seeded humanity some 500,000 yrs ago. Great story! Are you planning on elaborating it into a novel or have you already?

Not so far. It was a spirit of the moment inspired idea so I had to write it all down before I forgot it. I might add more to the story later. Certainly it is a work in progress. I certainly do appreciate that you enjoyed reading it. Thank you.
