In Aruba Not

I think that every little girl has taken a pair of scissors to her bangs. I believe I did, though I know my grandmother did it to me when I was a little girl. My mother was not very happy that her mom had ruined my bangs.

We have been to Aruba, well, not the Island we liked more, but it's warm, there are beaches, they surely have fun. I did the same to my bangs at her age.

I never messed up my hair buti did It to my cousin's hair when we both were young.

Well, at least the hair will not go in her eyes. I never messed up my hair but the barber did a few times.

It's a great picture. I know they must be having a great time. I don't know that I ever messed up my hair, but I did shave most of it off once while in the Army just before a 3-week deployment to Fort Irwin for desert training.

That's funny that he's in Aruba posing by pink flamingoes. One of my former lifeguards sent me a picture a few days ago of her in Aruba, posing in front of pink flamingoes! lol When I was little, sometimes my brother and I would stay the weekend at our grandmother's house while our parents went and did some fun stuff on their own (like camping, or traveling or what not). And inevitably, every time, my grandmother would insist that we needed a haircut, and would get to work butchering our hair. My mom would always be so furious when she saw our haircuts, because my grandmother had no idea what she was dong! haha

Aruba sounds wonderful, for a great family vacation. Yes, I've cut my bangs numerous times and really made a mess of my hair! Your granddaughter's bangs look cute, because she has natural curl. A beautician has fixed my hair on different occasions, after I did a number on it! lol

I am cheap. That being said I do own a clipper and do often cut my own hair. I HAVE messed it up for sure. Thank God it grows out. As for Aruba, never been there but would like to one day. Hope your son and family is having a fantastic time there, as I imagine they are.

Her hair is still cute. I think we all did this.

She's not alone, I was cutting my own hair for a while then noticed I wasn't getting the back done the way I thought .... now I go to a hairdresser and let her cut it, it looks much better now.

I'm the oldest, so my parents learned with me. One day, instead of taking my nap, I went into the bathroom and took the scissors to my bangs. The spanking wouldn't have been so bad except that picture was there as a reminder of what I did the day before school pictures. I'll need to go through the box of pictures from my parents and see if it's still there. I was five, so it was my Kindergarten picture. I think your granddaughter looks fine.

I never cut my own hair but one of my kids did. It's a long wait. Her hairdresser did a nice job. I didn't even notice the bangs.
