I know a couple of people mention national holidays and I love it. I think they are so cute and really just bring some happiness. Yes, they might seem silly, but hey sometimes they can help you figure out what is for dinner! And it is not like you need to celebrate all of them, it is just for fun! I was kind of clueless with what this week's webcomic was going to be about and when in doubt I look for national holidays. And...it was the PERFECT day Chocolate Covered Anything Day. hello?! My webcomic is literally called Choco Ichigo. Choco Strawberries, or Chocolate Strawberry!! It was perfect! I love when things like that happen. And to give a little background info of what is going on in this webcomic. Riku, the purple hair girl (or pink like some of your call it, it is a light purple!) runs a bakery with her grandma called Chocolate Cattie. (It was supposed to be Caddy, but when I made up this place I didn't know how to spell very well (I still don't) but I thought it was cute so I kept it. Plus it is a good backstory). Kagami, the grey hair girl is her best friend and likes to pop into the shop a lot to visit her friend and this time she brought Haruto who is the new student at Riku and Kagami's high school. And Kagami has seemed to take a liking to him *wink wink* They are not dating! Just friends who really need to start holding hands or I am going to go crazy! Sorry, I just love them, they are weird together and I love it! And yeah! The Chocolate Strawberry part makes a lot more sense in the actual story.I am in the process of making a Graphic Novel with an actual story line and I'm so excited about it. Ahh I am just happy, I love my characters, I really do! And I'm so happy I have been able to share them to the world for over 6 months! And I can tell I am progressing on my art and I'm so happy!
