Time in the Yard

The sun decided to shine today finally. We have had rain the last few days. Cold temperatures will be headed back in the next day or two. So today was a good day to get out in the yard for a bit. Awhile back I had some new trees planted. They all look good. The rain has been good to them.
I also have a butterfly bush in Dustin's garden. It has to be cut back each year. So that has been done now. I think we are ready for winter now. Then spring should bring new surprises in my yard and garden hopefully.
Sharing a photo of my butterfly bush from the spring. Butterflies and hummingbirds love it as much as I do. This Fritillary butterfly is sometimes mistaken for its cousin the Monarch.
Are you looking forward to spring already? Do you look forward to new blooms in your yard or garden to bloom?

Since our will test are mild and it is the time for things to grow in the garden,I am just enjoying it.
Spring with its splendour can take it's time.
That butterfly does look like the monarch

I love spring and all the lovely smells that's comes along with it. The thing I don't like about spring is that means hot weather is approaching and I don't like hot days at all.
