A Fresno man uses his cat to prevent robberies from his front porch

This story is kind of odd and yet very interesting since Fresno California resident Alec Armbruster is getting tired of people robbing his packages that are outside his home. Alec and his pet cat have a system to make it hard for any robber of his packages. The trick is that Alec fills up a package with the cat waste from the cat's waste deposit. Then Alec puts all of the cat waste in a package with his address on it. When the robber looks around and sees that the coast is clear, he or she picks up the package and leaves the home. The reaction of the robber when he or she sees what is inside the package reminds me of a radio ad in New Orleans about the company that picks up the roadside garbage. The motto is "Our business stinks."

@Deepizzaguy It's such a shame people need to go to those lengths to receive their packages.

I have heard stories that some residents who have their packages stolen have placed objects like animal waste or garbage to curb the desire of thieves to steal their packages.

@Deepizzaguy Absolutely, I would even go to place inside a spray that mark your face for several days.

That is one good way to stop package robberies.

I hope the robbers give up trying to steal from Alec.

I know if I were in their shoes and picked up cat waste inside a package, I would think twice before doing it again.
