Took A Wrong Turn Surfing

I'm a little bit paranoid or rather … I am “psychologically conditioned” to expect certain things to happen. After working via the web for over almost 2 decades, it's not a surprise to wake up on any given day, go to a website you have always gone to and get a message that says “Good bye” or not even get a message. The site has just disappeared! That happens. A LOT! But it's another thing when you type in the wrong address and end up … who knows where! And you only have to miss one letter in the web address. My example is a new site that I have been visiting hoping it's a viable income earning opportunity. I had to type in the name in the web address line. I thought I typed it right. But one letter was missing and I ended up in Egypt. It was some place in Alexandria, Egypt. I think that's where it was. Those are the only 2 words I understood because they were in English. The other words were in … Egyptian. (???) I guess. The site and the site owner that I was trying to get to are in India. I was like: What happened to the site? Did the guy leave already? Why? He was so nice. Everything looked fine! I just got here! After a minute or two of being in panic mode I looked at the web address and realized I had left out the letter “a”. When I fixed my spelling, the site was back! Whew!! Sometimes I purposely Google a word or phrase or type in a funky web address just to see what pops up. But it's very unsettling when you don't mean to do it. You totally lose it! One time I incorrectly my OWN blog web address, ended up at another site, and I went totally BONKERS!! Thought someone had stole my website.

It is very easy just to miss a letter or to mistype something.

We never know when a site will disappear, but it's good that you just made a mistake.
