what do you write in the subject of your email I normally do this and sometime forget about it. But this is important to write in your email. Most do not write a subject. They get right into it. For me I like to have the subject and work it from there. They same thing here in our discussion.Do you normally put a subject line to start off? Photo is one of my Christmas Card

If you do not put a subject, most of the time the email is classed as "spam", better not to forget.

I don't usually write anything in the subject tab, however if it was an informal email to a friend, I would end up putting there, "Hello my friend how are you?" I am so weird lol.

If I have nothing else to put for the subject, I might say something like "Hi __________ - from (Me)!" . . . that way it might get their attention.

I only send a few emails these days so the subject line is usually relevant to the communication. On here, sometimes I choose the discussion title first and go from there. Other times I write the post then pull something out of the text for the title.

Yes, it is important to put the subject in an e-mail. It saves time for the reader who might be so busy to read the body text; it gives them the idea or a gist of what you had written about.
