What to Do With the Chili Peppers

Yesterday I saw a chili plant with lots of ripe fruits. I harvested them though I do not know what to do with it. I thought of making a chili-garlic-olive oil condiment which can go along with fish or other viands. Or I can make a hot patch when my knee aches due to rheumatism. What other uses can you think of for the chili peppers?

Perhaps I will use them to make the chili pepper jam so that it can be stored for a long time.

Do you know that Chili Peppers was said to be selling for 1000 pesos per kilo. I didn't know that because we just get from the plant whenever I like to make my food spicy.

Yes, they said it commands a very good price, so I should pick all the peppers around our home and sell them!

Arh, you can sell it in the market for some money. Alternatively, you can make chili source or give some to your neighbour or relatives and friends so that your relationship can keep in touch.

I was thinking of that, I'll give some to my in-laws who are living in Metro Manila. They can also plant some of the seeds in pots so they can also have peppers from their garden.

I have no idea what to do with them but I hope others can help. It would be good to preserve them in some way for future use.

If you have vinegar you can put it there added with few garlic and onions.

I'd put them into the garbage can. Spicy food is just not my thing. Anything spicy just overpowers any other flavors for me that whatever is spicy just makes the whole dish taste like nothing but hot garbage. But that's just me. For me, once you put in something spicy, all the other flavors in the dish disappear. So it turns out to be lousy.

Pickled chili peppers as condiment. I think that is the easiest thing to do with all those chili peppers. Just cut the stalks then rinse with vinegar. Then put in a bottle with vinegar, salt, pepper, sugar, cloves of garlic and onions.
