Ring need some TLC.

Yep. Went to the jewel place in town, asked how much it will me and my husband to have our rings fixed. Now gold wears out as the years goes by, and finally cut. It happened to my mother, too. It will cost in total for one ring, $75.00/each.
We didn't shop around yet. We don't know if it is good deal yet. Golden rings wears out as the years goes by, and finally cut. It happened to my mother too. By the time she had a ring taking care off, it cost her only $ 25.00 , but this was over 40 years ago now. You can be sure to pay at least $ 75.00 now.

I actually have in my possession my grandfathers wedding ring. It's a softer gold than what is used today, but this ring is still in excellent condition.
My grandfather wore the ring for more than 50 years.....then my father wore it for another 15-20 years.
