JJ and all the other grinches are dancing because one week from tonight all this Christmas stuff will be over. And, for today's "Battling Bob" song from Bob Seger, I have the perfect song for that dancing he'll be doing! Here's another great tune form the Rock and Roll Hall of Famer.
#7: The Horizontal Bop
Gee, wonder what this song is about? Hey, I might have been totally clueless about "Squeeze Box" when I was 15, but I was 20 when this song came out, so I "got it." Plus, I don't think Seger could've made it more obvious if he'd tried.
So your local station won't play "Baby, It's Cold Outside"? Have 'em play this instead. This one actually is about sex! The celebration of summer and what young men and women do on hot summer nights is played exuberantly in this great, great rocker.

This is preferable to Against the Wind which I never liked.
