The Problem of an Uninformed / myLot

I woke up late today to which is becoming usual nowadays since I have a home based job and I preferred to work over it by nights. I rarely listen to local news on radios and only watch late night news from national televisions so it’s not surprising if I missed some important announcements. Schools are also on holiday break so I do not have an idea if it was a local holiday in the place where I live. My point of destination was the postal office because I have an important matter expected to arrive thru their office and I want it to be at hand before Christmas day. I have been there twice and it would be my third follow-up only to find out that the office is closed because it’s legal non-working holiday for the region. This is the disadvantage of being uninformed. I would try to come back tomorrow as there are only two working days left before Christmas day.

Why would it be an advantage to be uninformed in this case of yours? I seem to be confused.

Hopefully you will be able to pick up your package before Christmas. You can always look online for any closings in your area.

When u have to collect some parcel or information and its an uninformed close, then it create few problems. We should regularly be updated whether thru some news channel or highlights flashing on our mobile about the latest updates. I am unable to sit bfr TV set to watch news so I hv the news flashing on my phone.

@ZedSmart I think it should arrive before the year ends. So many people are already planning their Christmas holidays, many offices are already closed.

I'm saddened because it was not yet Ms. Anna. And to think that there's only 3 working days remaining next week for the year, I hope it would arrive before the year ends because there's no hope that it can make it on Christmas day. Well this is life, the more we get excited, the more it would test our patience and good things would not always take on our side but overall, I am still thankful for the gift of life. I would still look on the beauty upon it.

I was told that arrival would take 2-3 weeks. I was there today but it did not arrive yet. No hope for this one on Christmas day.

Nice that you have a home based job to focus on. In the course of trying to do your job at night you tend to overlook what is happening in your place in the morning. I think that you should make it a habit that you get the current news so that you know what is happening in your place from time to time.

I wasted my time because I was not aware and I have a fault on that part. The office will be open tomorrow and I hope that what I have waited should already been there or else it would be late for Christmas day.
