Is Reading a boring task? / myLot

Reading book enriches a person’s understanding about life. It may brought a reader into the most vicarious situation he/she might not be willing to be with in real life situations. It may seem that this generation has long passed the time where reading book is a recreational activity. I taught in secondary school, and mostly all of my lessons has something to do with literature.Students seems to find reading a tiring and boring task, they would rather watch movies or used Facebook than read. This attitude contribute to the reason why we have a poor education outcome. As an educator, it is a challenge to teach students who are disinterested towards reading selection. Most specially if the lesson to be taught has something to do with the selection itself. Do you concur?

As a writer, I am distressed whenever I hear someone say they don't like to read, especially a young person. As a teacher, I do all I can to encourage students to read. I'm convinced the trick is finding a book or books that feed the student's interest. This approach has worked for many years across many grade levels.

Reading is certainly not boring. It enriches our knowledge on several topics, gives us confidence in life by going through many situations and solutions, it gives us happiness, when we read our favorite topics, subjects and stories. It is a true friend and makes our time pass with content of spending time usefully. In my opinion Reading is

I don`t find reading boring as long as what I`m reading is really gives interesting way of making me go through with it

I do love reading but I have criteria like comedy, robotic, science fictions, history, etc .. but no politic or romance books. I hate those two hahaha
