The Phoenix --Sketch

This is a sketch I did back in High School (over 10 years ago) during one of my art classes. We had to keep a sketch book and draw at least one sketch every week. I took at least one art class during each of my 4 years of high school.
This is one I did back then, and one I am most proud of. I'd love to know what you think of it. I haven't drawn much since High School, so I don't think I could do anything like this again.
Do you sketch or draw for a hobby/fun, or even for a profession?

I think it looks awesome, I can't draw no more like I use to.. Just lost the passion for it. Do you still free hand?

Thank you very much! Seeing other's sketches here inspired me to share mine...If I can find other's I may share them too. I am sorry to hear you lost the passion for it :( I know it happens sometimes, but still.
And I haven't drawn free hand in forever...maybe I should give it another try

Thank you! And drawing mountain scenes sound nice though :) That's great that you do that when working with them and letting them add those things & take them home!

You have made some awesome art which you posted here. So I think if you attempt at sketching you can draw a more striking version of the phoenix.

Well I haven't drawn free hand in years, so not sure I could do any better, lol. I could turn a phoenix into a graphic design though, that might be fun.
