After the yehey... and the ha, ha, after the * cliiiing and cheers! The last hoorah is finally here, dirty dishes. Lucky are the households who have a dishwasher. Dishes will just be thrown into it, and automatically they will be washed. So how do you managed the dishes after the festivities? *let's offer a short prayer for the brothers and sisters who were affected by the Tsunami in Indonesia last Saturday December 22, 21O8" my title is not to disrepect the victims of the tsunami in Indonesia

@Mavic123456 Having lots of dishes to do is no fun if you do not have a dish washer. I do not have one and deal with the mess I make.

Even with a dishwasher, good china, crystal, silver, and huge pots need to be washed by hand.

Good thing, the noche buena was just 6 of us in the house. But I agree, it's the aftermath of a celebration that is difficult.

Ah, yes you are right. After much eating is much dishes. Happy we have a dishwasher here, even though you really need to scrub the dishes and wash the pans anyway.

@Mavic123456 Ah yes - that is true. All dishes need to be scrubbed before hand, and then things like pots and pans, you need to scrub so throughly that you might as wel just wash them by hand and not put them in there. Though it is nice for things, like if you have a lot of plates, glasses, bowls

I have no idea how the dishes get done after festivities. The women all take care of that. I think it's magic or something like that.

@Mavic123456 You women have way more power than you know. Without sounding perverted or vulgar, it's that little thing (umm, you know where it is) that makes men do ALL SORTS of things...stupid or otherwise!

well the problem with plastic plates are... they are plastic... and it is not really that environmental friendly. i am never a fan of the plastic plates unless I will wash them again and reuse.
