The Concert Plans Can Start Moving....

I posted back in October that my favorite group, New Kids On The Block, is going back on tour in 2019 (as they usually tour every other year). I was pretty excited about it, but then I wasn't 100% sure about the ride situation, so I didn't mention it as much in here. My younger sister is still not 100% sure if she can take me yet because it's too early to know what her work schedule is going to be like, which is understandable of course. However, my best friend agreed to be my back-up ride if my sister can't take me. I'll be buying her ticket of course, as she'd only be doing this for me. I was already going to buy my younger sister's ticket for taking me, so either way I'm buying two tickets. Anywho, I double-checked with the bestie the other night, and she said she'd still take me and then playfully told me not to ask her again lol. Sooo, now it's time to get things moving with the other plans. You know, like getting the tickets. I've decided on the concert in Hershey Park rather than Washington, DC. It's a little further than DC, but my loved ones are not fans of driving in DC, and would prefer to do Hershey. I also chose it because that concert is on a Saturday rather than a Tuesday, which is better for schedules. But the prices also play a huge role in my decision. The Hershey Park Stadium is a smaller venue than the one in DC (Verizon Center, but I think the name has been changed), and even the tickets for the floor seats are cheaper than DC's prices. I didn't get the tickets yet because they went on sale in October. Aside from the ride stuff, I just wasn't financially ready. I know it was only October, but that's still too close to the holidays to purchase concert tickets for myself and a buddy. I did save up for a while, and put it on hold for other reasons, but I'm going to be starting it back up again very soon. I've been keeping tabs on the tickets for the Hershey Park Stadium. My Mom is giving me money for my birthday next month (we discussed this, I'm not just assuming it), and that money is going right into my envelope for NKOTB tickets. That was always the plan though. It'll bring my funds up to a little over halfway there, and I'll have to save up the rest myself. I'm still saving for other things, but I still have time because the concert isn't until July. I do want to get the tickets as soon as I can, before the tickets I have my eye on sell out, but I don't think I'll be getting them before March or April. I'm excited at the possibility of seeing my boys again (I won't say it's set in stone until the tickets are purchased). They'll be touring with Tiffany, Debbie Gibson, Salt-n-Pepa and Naughty By Nature (it's called the "Mixtape Tour"), so it'll be cool to possibly see them as well. But I'm mainly going for NKOTB of course lol. I already have ideas for my outfit in mind, keeping the fact that it's an outdoor concert in mind, but I'm going to focus on just one thing at a time. The ride has been taken care of, so now it's time to focus on getting the tickets, and then I'll focus on the other stuff. Anywho, I felt like posting about it because I'm excited that things may work out after all. :) I'm gonna wrap this up. I hope you're all doing well.
