My Deepest Thought

Animals mean the world to me, from the magnificent Leopard to the Honey Bee. Mother Nature's beauty on two and four legs, to those with fins, feathers and scaly dregs. Environmentally speaking they are all in danger, from human idiocy and lack of care-givers. 70 million are put to death every year, with thousands of others in constant fear. Please do what you can to save a life, donate money, sign petitions to relieve the strife. Without our little furry friends, life as we know it will surely end. Animals are not disposable trash, it's time to stand up and react. Save a life and do what's right, let us restore Mother Nature's light.

Yes, everyone needs to become environmentally friendly and to begin that process we need to stop destroying wild habitat. Instead of growing too much wheat or corn why not plant bamboo as a wood source, at least that could save some of our majestic forests.

Yeah, if that @nanette64 recently I saw a satellite image of some company in the middle of the rain forest cutting down a lot of trees. Greedy people will be the destruction of our beautiful planet as we know it ..... Have you ever watched 'Buck Rogers in the 25th Century'?

@rebelann And what these jack-a**es don't realize is that those TREES are the planets source of OXYGEN. I wrote a post a long time ago about Glass-domed Cities.

Exactly @rebelann . And they wonder why coyotes, foxes, etc are in people's back yards. I think there is only 1/3 left of the Amazon Forrest.

Our shelters did not gave animals to adopt starting one week before Christmas, just because they do not want that they become "toys".

Oh yeah, like @MALUSE said; it's ridiculous that people give pets to people for birthdays and xmas only to have the majority of them being returned within a short period of time. @LadyDuck .

@nanette64 Too many go there for a "last minute shop" when they do not know which gift to buy.

@LadyDuck And not even considering what the animal wants or needs.

And don't give pets as gifts for Christmas or birthdays if you aren't sure they will be cared for!

@aureliah I am not a big fan of Zoo's but that may be the only way some animals will survive.

I am so sorry for the animals. So many of them are abandoned.
