Happy New Year

It is hard to imagine that soon it will be 2019 and I am still feeling a bit rocky like Dorothy who knows she is not in Kansas anymore or in my case Riga, Latvia or my hometown New York City. I went walking today and went to the beach. The beach? On December 30th? Yes, if you live in Florida. I stood there watching the waves rolling in from the Atlantic Ocean and watched people swimming. I had this very surreal feeling like I must be dreaming. For those who are experiencing winter this will also seem like it is not reality but for those who are coming into summer or live in California or in the tropics will just nod and smile that this is the regular every day.
I wandered about and thought to myself well, this is not bad at all and yet, I do miss having all four seasons. I have a lot of goals and wishes I want to achieve in 2019 and will do my best to make them all come true. My cat Sid and I want to wish you all a very

@RasmaSandra You'll get used to it. When I taught, we always went to a beach in the winter for a vacation. lol

We are reeling under severe cold here in India , yesterday the temperature climbed doen to one degree Celsius! Despite that I am sure people will celebrate te eve of Happy new year in their own style and have fun tonight! Wish you all the best and Happy&Prosperous New Year 2019.

It was like that all the time I lived in Latvia. It might have been freezing cold but we all went out at midnight to watch our neighbors shoot up fireworks @AKRao24
