Today was amazing. To most people, it might seem boring, but I was in heaven. I spent the day with my family, making things with my kids. We made cookies and I made perfume and salt scrub with my 6 year old daughter. I had to go to the store, and didn't know we were out of almond milk, so that was irritating. My 2 year old is allergic to milk (yes cow, goat, etc.) so she was upset she ran out of milk. So, I made some rice, and I'm going to make her rice milk if I don't fall asleep first. Tomorrow is my mother's 60th birthday, so I took the bus and went to the store to get her a small gift, because I didn't want her to be at the store with me, so I didn't ask her for a ride. I'm so tired right now. My youngest daughter (the 2 year old) is asleep on my lap and her name is Emma. My 6 year old daughter Aubrey wants to watch the movie Emma (the one with Gwyneth Paltrow) because she thinks it is cool it has the same name as her sister. We just finished watching Coco. I think I need to force myself to stay awake to finish the rice milk, so my little girl is happy in the morning.

I remember times like this with my kids and understand exactly why you felt you were in heaven. Treasured memories like this never fade. The nice thing for me was they became a legacy as my daughter now makes things with her own child. Nothing beats family time.
