Caught In Trouble In New Year!

It was second day of the New Year!
Everything was going fine till the mornig when my wife complained that our semi automatic washing machine's drying spinner is not working!
As as most of you know that I am a a freak about such gadgets and despite we have lot of chilly weather here, I have opened the washing machine to find that the spinner's motor got burnt!
I had to work for some minutes to come to the conclusion!
When I called my local mechanic was not available! The washeed clothes were squeezed physically by our helper and were dried outside only to find them that still they are semi wet!
I am in trouble now as we are having severe cold here and the washed clothes haven't got dried yet! If my wife lose her patience then definitely I amm going to sweat in this severe winter!
Please pray for me , ask the God to make my mechanic available for me tomorrow so that the spinner will start acting normally there on!

Ugh! I hope your dryer gets fixed soon! I was watching a friend dry pool towels outside . . . he spun it around by holding one end - and then spinning it in the other direction - then doing the same with the other end. It wasn't completely dry but it dried faster than just squeezing it. The new year will get better

Hope you have found a Mechanic by now then.
Its a nuisance when the washer does not spin properly.
Our washer only half works also.

Great and htere is nothing worse than when the washer suddenly goes on you and won´t do anything.

@AKRao24 one advise - avoid overloading the machine and of you have the money then have one machine servicing in a year.

@AKRao24 even sometimes I load it more but that is not good.
Do you mind telling which brand machine you have?
Mine is IFB.

Maybe all the mechanics had taken holidays to enjoy the New Year's party. So were you finally able to get it repaired?

Try Urbanclap. Sometimes they have good repair folks. And you can wash clothes in machine and then dry them under a fan in a room. It is a bit crude but it does works.

@AKRao24 yes sometimes we use fan in a room and close it even in winters when in desperation.

We prefer to step over those mopped floors if needed! !

That I know and can understand very well! But it is very difficult to explain this thing to the boss of the home! And imagine in this severe winter when I hardly can see anything 20 meters away from me driving to town, how horrible that would be?

@AKRao24 Yes it is problem in these, but it is our duty do it and always keep happy to boss of home. I am suggesting one thing to you when you are require to go outside your home in fog, sung one song :" Sansar Ki Har Shy Ka Itna He afsana Hai Is Dundh me Ana Hai is Dundh Mai Jana Hai. After it you never have fear of fog. Ha ha ha

That's a bummer starting out with a broken dryer. Hopefully you'll be able to get it fixed quickly so you can have dry clothes.
