Identity

Ive been reading some discussions today about the rules here and not giving personal information out. As someone who makes a living on the internet I must say that this is a good rule. So much can happen if you are not careful, I have to run a two hour scan every morning on my laptop because I am on a public wifi network. A network I could hack if I wanted to, it isn't hard but I chooose not be a criminal. Be careful folks, it's not just your credit people can steal. I saw on the news someone had their identity stolen and how they found out is by being arrested for a very serious crime. The interwebs is a dangerous territory, my friends. Did you know that Google only encompasses about 10% of the actual interweb? I dipped my toe in the dark web, it's very messy in there, I don't advise it.

I've been a victim of identity fraud and it was horrible. I hate giving any information out now. I take lots of precautions where I didn't before.

It is important to be careful. I read about a Danish man who got his driving licence, he was very excited so he uploaded a photo on Facebook. Everything was visible - his photo, his full name, his birthday etc. His identity was stolen, and I guess he learned the hard way that it wasn't a smart thing to do.

Thanks for the heads up. The internet can be so helpful, but dangerous at the same time.
