My one resolution that I've made this year is to treat myself better. No more beating myself up for what I should have done, could have done, and want to do. I vow to accept myself and become a better me because of it. If I'm happy with myself that way that I am, I feel free to see all of the opportunity that my life have to offer. I'm 40 now, and am still growing as a person, but I want to be better to myself, because I deserve it. I have 6 kids, 2 are grown, and even though the youngest is 2 and I have a lot more raising to do, I'm proud that I've raised 2 kids already. I am proud of myself and don't want to focus on all of my flaws. I feel like I've wasted half of my life dwelling on all of the things I want to change about myself and wishing I could do better. Well, I am a good mom, a good friend, and a good person. I am going to focus on things that make me happy and look forward to the rest of my time here on Earth.

That is an excellent resolution to have, we are our own with critics and we can be so hard on ourselves.

That is a very good new year's resolution. I dont understand why we beat ourselves so hard. Maybe it's because of the authorities growing up. I'm not sure. I'm also turning 40 soon, and I have to say it's better now than my 20s and 30s.
