Crazy

Spent 9 hours of my life, searching for the right digital piano to buy.
The long hours looking for information from googles, etc then reading notes, checking youtube (for the sounds of different model/brand) finally resulted in me having a severe headache.
Waking up 6 hours later, my mind was crystal clear: I am not going to buy anything since the house already has a very good piano (a hundred years old, but its keys and notes are still very beautiful) and a pretty expensive keyboard (from one of my young relatives, I am tutoring her whenever she turns up).
I so wanted to kick myself for wasting my precious time that way, but no point in crying over spilt milk, right? (If I had used that time to mylot, guess I would have got a few cents instead .)
Have you ever researched for things like mad like that, only to decide in the end that you are not going to get it? (It is part of the research step perhaps .)

That is a good decision. That piano is a treasure.

Sometimes you need to do the research to learn enough about it. You have now made a choice based on information, so it was not a waste of time.

You did good research. And the old piano sounds so good.

Your research paid off in the end. It made you content with what you have.

yes it's better then impulse buying. then you are out the money and still have something you don't like or can't use

Last week I spent about three hours browsing bedside tables, only to return to the first place I looked and order from there! Thoroughly frustrating!

At least you ended up knowing more (and perhaps appreciated more when deciding buying thing from that first store)?

I have never spent quite so long researching but yes I am always looking at homes in our area, I keep thinking maybe I will buy another one and rent this one.

It was not a waste of time, but a way to learn what you really should do, right?

I am still thinking if I should order the Yamaha DGX660 (I got a 5% coupon from that store ), the only problem is, we have already had two which are very similar to that one.

If you already have a piano, you do not have to throw money on another one.
