Things Keep Getting Stranger

Yesterday I wrote about a disturbing dream I had about my late husband. In that dream, I kept saying his last name umpteen times. I knew that my cat Sid missed his Papa a lot but today suddenly I keep hearing him up on the roof loudly meowing many, many times all throughout the day. He did come in to eat so that was normal but then out he goes and continuous yowling on and off. It is as if he is now calling his Papa. That just spooks me so much. What could have turned around in the heavens or what should I be taking notice of? Here is another nice shot of my Sid.

Looking into his eyes does not even do the trick. When he wants company I pet him and he bats against me and I look into those eyes and I say Sid why, why all the meowing but he stay quiet at that moment @JohnRoberts

Hopefully all will be revealed in time but it does seem very strange.

I don`t read much into the cat doing his thing, the dream I think, "I think", is more about you missing his so badly this time of the year. When I hang around the old home place a lot I miss my dad, he lived in the next house , and lots of times I dream about him, I don`t think much about it, except its me. Missing my dad. Things will be okay, sometimes the cat senses your grief and is crying with you.

Was he more of your husband's cat than yours? Maybe this is just their way of showing they miss him, and wishing he could still be there, and even wishing him the Best

It was a guy/cat thing they were both male and got very attached to each other. Sid loved to roughhouse with his Papa @KrauseHome

@GreatMartin you got me laughing. Yes, there are days when I wonder if it would not be better to do like Alice and find that rabbit hole and go to Wonderland.

Sid’s eyes remind me of Doodles. Are they green or gold?

My friends say that perhaps since he is already 12 and has been resettled here that perhaps it is a combination of old age senility and depression over his sadness losing his Papa (my late husband) I asked my friend what a cat psychiatrist costs and he said I wouldn't want to know @Courage7

There has always been some thought that animals can sense certain things we cannot. Maybe Papa is hanging around, and yes that would be rather spooky.

@RasmaSandra If my wife left me suddenly and I could still be with her...yes...I would be a very happy man indeed.

That is so sad to me. I can only imagine how sad they are and not understanding where their loved ones went.

I have a very close tie to the world beyond and also a sixth sense if this is true about cats I would love to find out what is happening but I don't know anyone who could help @lady1993 but I will keep your suggestion in mind
